Ms. Chen Qiis Associate Professor, MA and Vice Dean of the School of Foreign Languages at CUIT. She taught a wide range of courses including Basic English, Advanced English, Audio-Visual-Oral English, College English, and Graduate English etc. Currently she is in board of Sichuan Translation Association, workingon translation theory and practice study. She has published extensively in various renowned journals, such as CSSCI, Chinese core Journals, international peer-reviewed journals and proceedings and journals of some domestic universities. Among the four textbooks she co-edited, one has been listed into the 11th five year planning textbooks of the Ministry of Education.

Ms. Chen has been the president of around 10 research projects and the principal investigator for another more than 20 projects. Besides being awarded for university teaching achievements for several times, her program once won outstanding subject prize by Higher Education Academy of Sichuan. Her current administrative duty is to manage English major, Translation and Interpreting major, the teaching steering committee, college students’ innovation and entrepreneurship projectsand collegestudents’ competitions.
