Research Team of English Teaching Method

I. Introduction of the team

The research team of English Teaching Method is mainly composed of front-line teachers who have been engaged in College English and the courses for English majors for a long time. It is a team with rich English experience and high teaching level. The team now has 40 members, including 1 professor, 5 associate professors, 32 lecturers and 2 teaching assistants. Among them, one has a doctoral degree, and 28 master’s degree. Many of the team members have study and exchange experiences abroad (the UK, the US, Singapore, etc.) They have a strong consciousness and responsibility for undertaking scientific research, certain scientific research ability and a clear direction for their scientific research.

“New Standard Cup”paper competition for basic English education and teaching, third prize.

She has published more than 10 scientific research papers in various academic journals, including one in EI, one in ISTP, and one in ISSHP, and two in Peking University CORE journals.

She has presided over one educational reform project of the Ministry of Education, one provincial social science project, and three provincial department level projects.

III. Team Achievement

In recent years, the team has published nearly 100 academic papers, such as “Requirements and Translation Practice of Audit English in the New Era”, “External Dependence and Internal Integration: The Working Logic and Development Track of the Reform of British Discipline Assessment–On the Similarities and Differences of Discipline Assessments Between China and UK”, “Analysis of the Motivation for the Professional Development of English Teachers in Primary and Secondary Schools in the West”,etc. The team has also presided over more than 30 scientific research projects at the provincial, ministerial, municipal, departmental and school levels, such as “Research on the sense of cultural identity of English majors in science and engineering colleges”, Analysis of the Conditions for the Development of Middle School English Teachers in the Western Region” and “The Reform and Practice of POA-based English Teaching Method”,etc., and has won more than 10 awards at all levels.
