Music is a kind of charming language, which conveys a wide range of human emotions. The “Music Share” English Corner activity, organized by the Foreign Language Club, was held at 7 p.m. in classroom H4106 on March 28th, 2024.
With the host’s concise and inspiring speech, the music sharing event kicked off. Due to the rich content, the atmosphere at the event was lively. First of all, the students sat in groups and introduced themselves. All communication was in English. Then, they shared the reasons for their favorite songs and played or sang them. Next came the game “Guess the name of the song and the singer”. As soon as a song was played, the students raced to be the first to answer a question and the atmosphere was very enthusiastic. The last part of the event was the students’ talent show. They all showed off their voices and sang their favorite songs with confidence and youthful poise.
Through this English Corner activity, the students not only showed their excellent music appreciation and extraordinary singing skills in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, but also improved their oral English level and enhanced their confidence and motivation in learning English.
