Hu Lu

Hu Lu, female, Professor, Master, member of China Education Society, member of Teaching Steering Committee of Chengdu University of Information Technology, Master’s supervisor. She graduated from Southwest University of Finance and Economics and studied in Victoria University of Australia as visiting scholar. Her research interests include Business English, International Trade and Cross-border E-commerce. She has been course teacher of International Trade and Practice (delivered in English), International Marketing (delivered in English), Business Writing (delivered in English), Audio-visual-spoken Business English, Reading of Western Economic and Trade Newspapers, and International Payment and Settlement (delivered in English), etc.

Rewards: Eighth Young Teacher Teaching Award of Chengdu University of Information Technology, the third and fourth Teaching Quality Award of Chengdu University of Information Technology, the 3rd Prize of Sichuan Region in the Teaching Competition held by NFLTC, Instructor Award of National Business English Translation Competition, Excellent Instructor of Southwest Region of National Business English Practice Contest held by Higher Education Press. She guided more than twenty students in winning national, provincial, and municipal competitions. She also supervised four innovation and entrepreneurship projects for college students, including two at the national level (second prize) and one at the provincial level (second prize).

Ms. Hu Lu received certificates including Certificate of ETTBL Trainer, the Certificate of National Cross-border E-commerce Position Trainer, the Cambridge Business English (Advanced) Certificate, and Japanese Language Proficiency Test (Level N2). She participated in the training work of BFT and Chengdu Lafaji Plaster Building Materials Limited Company, one of the world’s top 500 enterprises, awarded the honorary title of "Excellent Corporate Trainer". She published more than forty academic papers, including eight papers in CSSCI, RUC Copy, Peking University CORE journals and International Core Index, and seven papers in other foreign academic journals. She edited and co-edited fourteen textbooks published by Higher Education Press, East China Normal University Press, Fudan University Press and Peking University Press. She also published two national monographs and presided over seven provincial and municipal projects.
