Wang Qiaoli, instructor, received her Ph.D. from the joint doctoral program between Shandong University and University of Central Florida in the U.S. She is also a member ofTranslators Association of Sichuan. Her research interests lie in foreign literature, and fiction and non-fiction translation practice. She has won the third prizein the 17th “Shangyi” Cup Translation Competition and the third prize in the 9th Tianfu Translation Award. Wang has translated and published more than 10 books with nearly 2 million words. She teaches courses for English majors such asEnglish Writing andSelected Readings from English Short Stories.
