YULIYA, instructor, post doctor. She is a senior research scholar at the School of International and Comparative Education, Faculty of Education, Beijing Normal University. She earned her Ph.D. from the School of Literature in Beijing Normal University. Her research interests include international education and comparative education, modern Chinese, dialects, and cultural differences between China and the West, ethic, intercultural and international communication. During her doctoral studies, she won the first prize in the annual doctoral student appraisal and the special contribution award for international students several times. Sheobtained the teaching certificate of Tsinghua University National “Engineering Theory” Course, the teaching certificate of National College Teachers “Understanding Contemporary China” Textbooks, and the 150-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate.

She teaches courses in business ethics, engineering ethics, software regulations and intellectual property law and modern Chinese. She has rich experience in internal exchange affairs and administrative management, international student enrollment and teaching. She has organized and carried out international education exchange projects and participated in international education exhibitions many times. She was invited to the U.S. to give speeches on cross-cultural exchange and interviewed by international media.
